She is currently living in Venice.
Marina Marques was born in Natal, north-eastern Brazil in 1998 and grew up in Italy. Trained in visual arts, photography and curatorial practices in Venice,England and Iceland.
In her research and practice she likes to curate projects, concepts and desires in the tensions between materiality and impalpability, invisibility and sensuality, exploring the transformative potential of the minor senses, especially olfaction, in the visual arts.
